Visit Us or attend an Open Day
Our Next Open day will be in May 2017, but if you're interested in joining, please contact us and we'll arrange to meet you and show you why we think Banbury Sailing Club is so special.
Banbury Sailing Club is a warm and friendly family club, with a relaxed and social atmosphere. If this is what you're looking for then we invite you to experience our club on the beautiful Boddington Reservoir, near Byfield (on the borders of Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire) to sample the atmosphere and see what the club has for you.
- New to Sailing ? we teach anyone who is interested in learning to sail, from the age of 7+
- Sailed a Bit Before? we will get you back on the water using your own boat or one of the club boats
- Experienced Sailor? join in our close racing series on Sundays or just cruise the reservoir socially, as you wish
The cost of membership is amazingly low - less than £3.30 per week* and includes use of club boats, almost 365 days a year access to sailing, club house and changing facilities. We also have an active social calendar. Click here to see the benefits of membership section of our website.
So, why not drop in for a cup of tea and slice of cake while you look around. There's no hassle or hard sell. There will be lots of members about both on and off the water and lots going on to keep everyone entertained young and old.
Have a go! Try sailing at our Open Day
Why not throw some spare clothes and old trainers in the boot of the car and have a go in a boat yourself with one of our experienced members at the helm.** What could possibly be better on a sunny afternoon?
We look forward to seeing you there!
* Illustration excludes one off joining fee
** Whilst every care will be taken to keep your Open Day sailing experience as dry as possible this is a water based sport so always best to be prepared. Changing facilities and showers are provided. We will provide suitable buoyancy aids for all adults and children from age 7+. Whilst younger children are always welcome at the club, we do not have suitable life jackets for very small children and it is a condition of the lake that anyone aboard a boat or on the jetties must be wearing a suitable buoyancy aid or life jacket.
