Sunday 1st May - first regatta day of the year and all day breakfast at the Club! Race briefing from 10:15 with a 10:30 start on the water with 4 races throughout the day and prizes for each race Racing 10:30 - 3pm Food served from 9:30 - 2:00pm (Meat and Veggie options)

The Club is beginning to get busier ......
Things are starting to get busier at the Club. This weekend we are hosting the Solo Open on Saturday and then we have Club racing on Sunday - first race 10.30 - with our inaugural 'Sunday Roast' served between 12.30 and 2pm. AGM

Would you like to learn more about how to run club racing?
The RYA have put together an online course which you can dip in and out of at your leisure. BSC would love members to take this opportunity to learn more about running club racing. Club members are required to help out on a Sunday and this course gives you a good insight in to what goes on. You Can Access the Course Here

We have two work parties coming up in February. These will involve a range of jobs to get the Club looking tidy, dealing with any maintenance issues and getting boats ready to go for the start of the season. Maintenance Days

It is a boat specific day when we will be going through the Club boats and the sail stores to check what needs replacing and repairing. Christmas Race 2021
Come and celebrate Christmas this Monday 27th December with Banbury Sailings Club's annual Christmas race! First gun will be at 11:55am for a 12 noon start. Afterwards there will be mince pies and mulled wine to warm up with. Also prizes for the most festive boat so remember to wear your Christmas jumpers!

Informal Sunday Racing
We are delighted to say that CART have put the plug back in the dam after their recent maintenance work and the Reservoir is now almost full again. Several members made the most of this and organised some informal racing on Sunday 12th December. Notice to Members - Cancellation of the 2021 Winter Series & Laying Up Supper
Owing to the low water level of the reservoir, resulting from ongoing maintenance works, the General Committee has taken the decision to suspend the running of the Winter Sailing series for this year. The Committe will continue to monitor the water level and will look to re-instate the series if possible once the water level recovers.
