Dinghy and Trailer Parking

  • Dinghy Parking

There is ample space for your dinghy at the club.  The fleets all have their own areas of the site so that the new member soon makes contact with people sailing the same boat.

New members (and those buying a 'new' boat) should contact their fleet captain (follow the links on the left for contact details) before bringing their dinghy on site so that they can be allocated a space. Stakes are provided to tie your boat down while the sheltered nature of the site means that boats are usually secure even in the worst gales.

Each member is responsible for mowing the grass in and around their dinghy parking space - a mower & strimmer are available for use by members.  All dinghies should have the current membership sticker affixed in a visible position on the transom or mast otherwise the boat may be moved.

If you are bringing a new boat to the Club, or adding a further boat to your fleet, please complete and return the Change of Boat form.

  • Trailer Parking

If they wish, members can leave their boat trailers on site in the area set aside for this.  There is no charge for this and it saves your trailer cluttering up your drive or garden.  Trailers must be clearly identified with the boat type and number / name.
