Events
The club social
programme gives opportunities to meet other club members. Most of the events
are held at the club, which is an ideal location for both indoor and outdoor
events - see Clubhouse page.

races: you will be able to bet on the race or even purchase a (virtual)
horse. All bets are in dummy money. The winner is the person with
most "wealth" at vthe end of the evening. Includes a light
supper. |

Social
events are normally held every month, on a Saturday evening, and may also
include:
- Club
at the Pub: convivial meal at a local hostelry
- Treasure
Hunt: perennial favourite, but something we haven't done for a while;
deserves a revival.
- Talk
by 'local' personality: as sailing related as possible, with buffet
- Junior
Disco - aimed at our younger members, but oldies can come and embarass
everyone too!
This year
the Barn Dance and Commodore's BBQ will be combined as part of the Family
Fun Day and Regatta weekend.
