The General Committee
eneral Committee are responsible for administering the clubs activities and ensuring compliance with our club rules. Candidates for roles on the main committee are elected at the AGM, however the places on the sub committees are available to any club member with an interest or relevant skill.
A keen Solo sailor, David can be found competing regularly in club racing. David also instructs with our adult training program.
Dave's role as president is to bring continuity to the decisions the club makes today, linking them back to past objectives - our compass if you like.
Andy started out many years ago in yachts, but he loves his Wayfarer. He has frequently been seen racing Whale Shark and has also cruised her long distance with other Club Members.
Andy has been the Adult Training Administrator for over 5 years. He also Instructs in Dinghies and Powerboats.

A keen Solo sailor, Duncan can be found fiercely racing his Solo most Sundays. Duncan also gets involved with Youth sailing - his two daughters both sail and he is a dinghy instructor. When not at the club he also races on big boats down on the South Coast.
Julian is seen regularly racing
his Phantom on a Sunday and is also a keen mountain biker juggling his spare
time between both.
He instructs dinghy sailing at
the club, owning a GP14 and is keen to get his wife sailing/racing
