Dinghy Level 3 - Better Sailing - 30th March & 7th April 2024

An introduction to sailing dinghies for complete beginners, covering everything you need to know to get afloat under supervision

Required experience:  Sailing skills to the standard of Level 2 Basic Skills

Minimum duration:  Approximately 2 days, 16 hours or equivalent number of session

Minimum age:  In general, under 16s may prefer to learn through the Youth Sailing Scheme

Content:  Further coaching to consolidate the skills learned during Level 1 - Start Sailing, and Level 2 - Basic Skills. Short taster sessions from the advanced modules such as Day Sailing and Seamanship skills

Certificate issuing criteria:  More confident in sailing skills and techniques and ready to progress onto the advanced modules
