Wayfarer Open Meeting
This Wayfarer Open event will be held on Saturday 4th June 2022 and is open to Wayfarer class boats.
Banbury Sailing Club is on the bank of the 72 acre Boddington Reservoir. Access to the water is by two slipways with a winch available on one.
We have areas where you can put your camper van and the odd tent if you wish to stay the night. There are no hook-up points, but the club facilities will be available. If you are bringing a campervan or tent, please book a ticket prior to arrival. Peter Bones (Lazy Bones 9380) peterdbones@btinternet.com will allocate you a space. Those staying on Saturday night are invited to join in the club's Sunday racing.
- Three races. First race warning signal at 10:55am. Briefing approximately 10:30am.
- Please enter by booking online and returning completed entry form by email if possible (or in the clubhouse if not) by 1030hrs on 4th June 2022.
- Entry fee is £15 and payable at the event by contactless credit or debit card.
- Hot drinks are included.
- Clubhouse, changing rooms and showers will be available.
- Bacon Rolls will be available from 9am to 10am for £2 per roll.
- Lunch will be available for £5 per adult/children 12+ or £14 per family (2 Adults & 2 children under12). Please book in advance to ensure sufficient catering.
- Saturday evening meal is BBQ at approx. 6pm to 7pm - tickets can be booked below.
- Visitors overnight camp pitch £10 per night. Please book in advance.
