Training Overview

We are an RYA accredited training centre and run a wide range of sailing courses to meet the needs of our members and the club. (Please note we do not run any courses for non-members - but if you join you'll find the overall cost of membership plus training, competitive with a commercial training centre)

The training is provided by qualified instructors and can be undertaken using one of our club boats or in your own boat.

Throughout the summer months, we also support those wishing to put their training into practice, through running supervised, but informal evening sessions.

The Courses we run are:

RYA Level 1 - Start Sailing, RYA Level 2 - Intermediate, RYA Level 3 - Better Sailing

RYA Powerboat - Level 1, RYA Powerboat - Level 2, RYA Safety Boat

We also arrange the training of appropriate members to ensure we can run our activities in a safe environment
