Our Youth Section

We run a thriving, friendly and fun Youth section. Children as young as 7 can participate in the Youth training sessions, which are very well attended and run, either on Saturdays on Sundays, between May and September

We operate four groups at our training sessions:

• Beginners - first time sailors learning the basics.
• Improvers - sailors who are improving their skills.
• Racers - more experienced sailors who are preparing for race training.
• Race team - experienced racers who we encourage to represent Banbury Sailing Club at: Open Meetings; training for zone squads; team racing; and national schools competitions.

Spaces are limited, however we can usually accommodate young sailors who have some (or a lot of) experience of sailing and their own boat
