On Sunday 30th June we welcome the Midland Merlin Rockets to the club for an open Meeting. As always with the Merlin fleet the racing is of high standard and very tight. Visitors can access the club from 8.30am. Teas and Coffees are included in the entry fee, but bring your own lunch.

ATTENTION CLUB RACERS AND YOUTH SAILING Next Sunday 16 June has the makings of a "Super Sunday" with the combination of a Lark Open Meeting, youth sailing and club racing. Banbury Sailing Club is participating in the Annual RYA Club Member Satisfaction Survey this year. This is a survey covering members of all RYA affiliated clubs and will give the RYA a good view on where the sport we love is flourishing and where the sport needs more support. As a club, we would like to understand our memberships needs better and the RYA survey will also tell us (in anonymised, aggregated form)

Two Banbury Sailing Club sailors were amongst 57 people from across the UK honoured for their commitment to supporting grassroots sailing by Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, President of the Royal Yachting Association, at the RYA’s prestigious Volunteer Awards on Friday 16 November. Graeme Castle received an RYA Lifetime Commitment Award, for individuals who have shown exceptional commitment and dedication to their club or organisation for at least 15 years, at the awards

Peter and Liz Bones wrote the following report from their trip to the Wayfarer International Rally on the Norfolk Broads this year. Not long after upgrading my GP to a Wayfarer some 5 years ago, I became aware of the benefits of being a member of the UK Wayfarer Association. I found the Association to be enthusiastic, well organised, helpful, and above all, it had a membership who were and still are, very friendly.
