14th May Update - Personal Sailing at Banbury Sailing Club

At this time we believe government guidelines do not allow organised sailing events / training, however the Committee has agreed that, with immediate effect, the club grounds, pontoon and reservoir can be used by members for personal sailing in their own boat.  

Members cannot use any other club facility, until further notice, so the following will NOT be available to use: -

• Clubhouse and any buildings or containers, including the Toilets and Changing Rooms
• The Balcony
• Safety Boats
• Club Boats (Unless pre-booked)
• Buoyancy Aids
• Winch
• Any other Club provided equipment

Members exercising the option to sail are required to be in strict adherence to government advice and social distancing guidelines. 

If it becomes apparent that there are breaches of Government guidelines, then the decision to allow personal sailing will be reviewed by the Committee. Similarly if the Government advice changes we will review whether sailing can continue
