Fun in May
17:18 on 4 May 2022
There is a lot going on at the club from Youth Sailing to Afternoon Tea and we would love to welcome you along to join in.
What's On in May
Kicking things off this Saturday, we have:
8.30am - Youth Training - click here for the Youth 2022 Newsletter. Those booked to attend will be pleased to hear bacon rolls will be available again.
2.00pm-4.00pm - OPEN DAY - We need volunteers to take out visitors in boats, bake a cake and generally be around to chat to prospective members. Please sign up here or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help out. To help spread the word to the wider community, please share our Facebook post which is on the Banbury Sailing Club page.
Sunday sees the Midlands Merlin Rockets joining in with Sunday Racing, come and show off your local knowlege of Boddington Water and set the pace. First race for Banbury Sailing Club is as normal at 10.30am with the Merlins starting at 11.15am with a briefing at 10.45am.
Lunch will be available, pay on the day but it would help us if you could please book here so we have an idea for catering.
Saturday 14th May is Day 1 for RYA Start Sailing Level 1 or Level 2 course. Day 2 takes place on Saturday 28th May, sign up for Level 1 here or Level 2 here.
Friday 20th May - the regular Friday morning ladies sailing will move to a 2.00pm start to run on into the monthly Friday Evening Sailing. There will be a powerboat on the water and hopefully a coach to help hone your skills.
Afternoon Tea 3pm Sunday 29th May
The May activities will culminate with Afternoon Tea (on the balcony, hopefully), 3.00pm Sunday 29th May: join in with the Sunday Racing first or come along at 3.00pm.
Tickets for this event are free to Members but must be booked in advance. Tickets can be booked here or email email@example.com to let us know you are coming.
