Racing Rules Quiz Night - Monday 18th May 6.30pm

Club members, present and past, are invited to join in our first ever online quiz to test their knowledge of the main Racing Rules of Sailing. The quiz has something for everyone - whether you are fairly new to racing or a 'seasoned expert' we know you'll learn something from the night.

The quiz will take you through a range of scenarios - all of which may occur on the race course at Banbury - and ask which boat has right of way.  You'll be able to enter your answers on a phone or tablet and it will show your score at the end of the quiz.  Play individually or as a household team and don't worry - we won't tell anyone how you did (apart from the winners of course)!

After the quiz, we will walk through each scenario and discuss the answers.  However well (or badly?) you did in the quiz, this will be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the rules and how they apply in real world racing.

The quiz will kick off at 6.30pm and we expect to have a short break before resuming with the answer session at 7.30pm.  Please ask your local Social Secretary to organise a dinner that can be eaten in front of "Zoom TV"!
